Everything is perfect in the Wonderful Land of Moss. I, the good witch have only to wave my magic wand to achieve all and any desires. The Wizard of Moss grants all requests. The munchkins are happy and respectful. Life is a dream. And then I wake up amidst a tornado. Oh Well, Imperfect as it is: There's No Place Like Home.Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.comBlogger31125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-37500793593781909802009-07-05T20:21:00.000-07:002009-07-09T06:45:38.606-07:00I don't think we're in Bend anymore! It's about time I posted something else on this blog, don't ya think. But really there has been very little out of the ordinary happening at our house the last few months. Having four kids is so busy that I hardly remember to take pics anymore. I know with the first two I was making up reasons to take pics and setting up photo shoots constantly. I would buy new scrapbook stuff and then coordinate a photo shoot to match. My older two children have more than twice the pics in their photo boxes. So Sad:( Now it really is my oldest daughter that reminds me to bring the camera and half the time she is the one taking the pictures. Love her for that. I don't seem to have a problem remembering to take pics of my cakes, they are my new baby I guess. Anyways, I do have a couple of occasions to post now.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuiKujCA4I_ivPGxiX47L5nm1tbDVXpjBOLjPC1UVz4go6KIoiaWhQLTcxiDfH3Haff55P4O2d1G6mHDUNBNZYVezOkZ0XEC9ABK-fyAVqBdABEjhU724x1a3-bSaQJLhyphenhyphenW4W37ZTme6E/s1600-h/tportland2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 280px; height: 276px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuiKujCA4I_ivPGxiX47L5nm1tbDVXpjBOLjPC1UVz4go6KIoiaWhQLTcxiDfH3Haff55P4O2d1G6mHDUNBNZYVezOkZ0XEC9ABK-fyAVqBdABEjhU724x1a3-bSaQJLhyphenhyphenW4W37ZTme6E/s400/tportland2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356455451400980946" border="0" /></a><br />A couple of months ago we made a trip to Portland for family Temple day. All the kids got to go inside (the 3 youngest only in the atrium). Sariah did her first Baptism session. We stayed at a hotel less than a mile away from the Temple. The night before we went out to eat at the Olive Garden and then swam in the pool till 11pm. Such a simple little getaway but so much fun. I love Portland. Everything was gorgeous and blooming. The Temple grounds were breathtaking. It was probably the most gorgeous place I've been to on this planet (I don't travel much). Definitely Eons prettier than any place in Bend, especially in the Spring. I just love the temple, I always have such a peaceful and relaxing experience. There is nothing that tops it. Except maybe watching your kids enjoy it as much as you do.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF5l87wZ6DptTpkUkxCzlI3kSz4Pe-rEAxtALG16fq2lBlZNWhcd1HvANaHIfTUABNrs1Olgz3N3PoIWaTnucPqVSOi4bLv-krarMXdEB_R8siWa66qUhnY3F-2cXBMS1hv7kDetUXp5c/s1600-h/100_3095.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF5l87wZ6DptTpkUkxCzlI3kSz4Pe-rEAxtALG16fq2lBlZNWhcd1HvANaHIfTUABNrs1Olgz3N3PoIWaTnucPqVSOi4bLv-krarMXdEB_R8siWa66qUhnY3F-2cXBMS1hv7kDetUXp5c/s400/100_3095.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356445043116100594" border="0" /></a><br />Aubrey collected these blooms off the ground so she could press them and frame them. She so wanted to remember how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, her dad threw them away when we stopped for take out on the way home. He was just throwing away trash and she had put them in a cup for safe keeping. I felt so bad. She cried the whole way home. She wants to go again and get more blossoms...I don't have the heart to tell her that trees don't bloom year round.<br />Ellie was really into the flowers too. She went around to all the tulips, looking inside for little tiny fairy babies. It was pretty cute.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi26Qzyhm5wPDKnzPfAnHjn908UOqiYEQOifXb0KC-2S7CfXhH0s54IKsoOUfS82sJn1ZlP7vkVUXNg5ardfU-CEkZZaAjgcBf8mz7iEK9zH2r6ncY4TrBeF6vQNrE-wga_79tYo4yXif4/s1600-h/100_3089.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi26Qzyhm5wPDKnzPfAnHjn908UOqiYEQOifXb0KC-2S7CfXhH0s54IKsoOUfS82sJn1ZlP7vkVUXNg5ardfU-CEkZZaAjgcBf8mz7iEK9zH2r6ncY4TrBeF6vQNrE-wga_79tYo4yXif4/s200/100_3089.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356447303691074210" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit2Rb6ZTma9GP0ItPEvI3SGf6saJyvnK4GjbSOjHRhwIA2u5QDrLCXrcv1zOkXWy7HANerdkfMdBHOwk-PUuL1DL_dQJIM1E1dli2QQUNtLFzVJT46mhkm9VRLauJnBz-sgfdYA8AH-jM/s1600-h/100_3084.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit2Rb6ZTma9GP0ItPEvI3SGf6saJyvnK4GjbSOjHRhwIA2u5QDrLCXrcv1zOkXWy7HANerdkfMdBHOwk-PUuL1DL_dQJIM1E1dli2QQUNtLFzVJT46mhkm9VRLauJnBz-sgfdYA8AH-jM/s200/100_3084.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356447597443877058" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuJ0hDSOF961PAZyA-WcmVt2DKzVcPDn8emornrfCeXe64TosQqBqIdvMcQy5gFzSL9xIjEwf_NoEst67ZzA0e7qyCUgQV4s0sTdbeUijUQ6S0h0RB1Lgg1M_T19ZXlnt51b0nQrXe-KQ/s1600-h/100_3088.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuJ0hDSOF961PAZyA-WcmVt2DKzVcPDn8emornrfCeXe64TosQqBqIdvMcQy5gFzSL9xIjEwf_NoEst67ZzA0e7qyCUgQV4s0sTdbeUijUQ6S0h0RB1Lgg1M_T19ZXlnt51b0nQrXe-KQ/s200/100_3088.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356448120034201730" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZmGSXchYBsMbP8otD3ctbZxvmIdLLP8GjZS6Zrs0ZQhD1dZ1xKD4xQcwGCGsWea-4inBirIIt8EvuTJKYLK0E9EJ23nrppKU35AY8Ciz6FRWYycPgT998aP7LXPdetMF2RgQvVV0ri_A/s1600-h/100_3090.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZmGSXchYBsMbP8otD3ctbZxvmIdLLP8GjZS6Zrs0ZQhD1dZ1xKD4xQcwGCGsWea-4inBirIIt8EvuTJKYLK0E9EJ23nrppKU35AY8Ciz6FRWYycPgT998aP7LXPdetMF2RgQvVV0ri_A/s200/100_3090.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356454818586658066" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjip9A-6-hiVsnVpGX6C0Vd6ZIVnYy3g0XWp3Al0FTziveiUodrAJO19_Opn-PRskx8RcEuvnlftwfSeoUvk8QrWczcCLeDJ_K7SYOR0D9_9vQ8PFZo6N5JXLLA8PVBKR-wpAXnj7fGGTc/s1600-h/100_3087.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjip9A-6-hiVsnVpGX6C0Vd6ZIVnYy3g0XWp3Al0FTziveiUodrAJO19_Opn-PRskx8RcEuvnlftwfSeoUvk8QrWczcCLeDJ_K7SYOR0D9_9vQ8PFZo6N5JXLLA8PVBKR-wpAXnj7fGGTc/s200/100_3087.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356447959554456674" border="0" /></a><br />Isaac was just so excited to touch the temple," Now I will always have the spirit with me," he said. Her dad took a really cute one with his phone right before they both went in. I'm going to have to figure out how to download it on here.<br />I Can't wait to go back again, probably this month. I know it won't be quite as fun. Robert and Jodie live up there now (Andy's brother and his wife), So we will most likely stay at their house. Things will be different...all the blossoms will be gone, there won't be any grand tour of the atrium with the entire primary, but I know the spirit will be there... this will always be my favorite place to take my family.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDQGb1tnQ4rLEe6TFjp1IyL7otT31SKVJUsUAq1cvpZhqhstOpkqOrHMq9kMIUNoHfSoS8Hs0wepmJ3RdObFmtdDFtscbfTXBg4G6O3owp9GbWL4rzzxFi7QpNq8hDsqYQBfPGfYL9CSc/s1600-h/1426780716_f91d6fd63b.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDQGb1tnQ4rLEe6TFjp1IyL7otT31SKVJUsUAq1cvpZhqhstOpkqOrHMq9kMIUNoHfSoS8Hs0wepmJ3RdObFmtdDFtscbfTXBg4G6O3owp9GbWL4rzzxFi7QpNq8hDsqYQBfPGfYL9CSc/s400/1426780716_f91d6fd63b.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356456102115346098" border="0" /></a>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-79489980351677949712009-04-16T09:23:00.001-07:002009-04-16T11:53:11.475-07:00A splash of Color in a very gray world!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjydD0DJhed2u1AHCT2Q-zEQ6FFEzvaiIeYAXAbS795tDQlbKwLEBUh-0n3gvoxm6EdvxDYFU0GJcc1YaTJegWeAYd_sfwiYG-Xe75-blejWcC287zssLejmRalCnVhKGcIgcyjrLMmbLU/s1600-h/100_3021.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjydD0DJhed2u1AHCT2Q-zEQ6FFEzvaiIeYAXAbS795tDQlbKwLEBUh-0n3gvoxm6EdvxDYFU0GJcc1YaTJegWeAYd_sfwiYG-Xe75-blejWcC287zssLejmRalCnVhKGcIgcyjrLMmbLU/s400/100_3021.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325329027521376290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I don't know about you, but my kids are the things that bring color to my world.<br />They are so sweet and adorable, if I do say so myself. I might be biased but I don't care.<br />We went to Kathy and John's( in-laws) house for an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter dinner after church. They just moved to this House with an Amazing 2.5 acre yard. It was Pretty fun ( it would have been perfect if it hadn't been for unexpected guests, but that's another story I'm not telling).<br />It was a very cold and gray day but all the kids looked so adorable in their Easter duds. Not only did my kids coordinate with each other but they coordinated with all their cousins too. It soothes the OCD in me. And can you believe they actually had turquoise clothes for boys? I don't know if I will ever get the grass stains out of Isaac's white pants but... Oh Well??? Last night we had 8 little girls spend the night in addition to Aubrey and Sariah for a total of 10 girls. I feel like I just gave birth. What a wild bunch!<br />We had cake and presents and afterward decoupaged Masquerade Masks. At midnight when we were finally done with that, the girls watched "Horton Hears a Who" and I went to Bed. I could hear them up until about 2am. I finally got into a deep sleep only to be awakened by some little girl singing at the top of her lungs. I ran down stairs to shut her up before she could wake up the whole house, thinking no one had slept at all, and discovered it was 6 am. They had slept... A total of 4 hours. For breakfast we broke out some strawberries, grapes, and the chocolate fountain. I'm sure the parents will love me for that one. But what fun is it going to a party if you can't break the rules just a little?<br /><br />Anyways, before I take my nap to recover, I thought I'd post these cake pics...<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUcuPQnpgmtRjPR6pgCdYruPGV0NpL2_ZceO1UvJu5bG7ubCAS6rD-RH14_l2d9_P79SEkfdNStD9Yn1bAHgOemMINhF6xtes2wZI-YGaUmV8ndN6smfvSxh_e4Cv6yFEkqMMouoQPb9Y/s1600-h/100_2902.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; But oh well, right?... it is so much a part of what goes on around here lately. And this story is a classic...<br /><br />I'm in the kitchen, humming away, completely surrounded by cupcakes. Isaac and Ellie are in the living room watching Cartoons. Being a mom and completely aware of all things going on in the house, I notice that the kids are helping themselves to the unfrosted cupcakes I've left by the oven. The cupcakes I've decided I'm not going to use. Needless to say, I don't care... Hey, they aren't whining to me to make them any food so, I'm good. After a considerable amount of time passes and many, if not all the cupcakes are consumed, Isaac decides he is going to tattle on his sister. It went something like this...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBO8VqYgLwuVFdxku05r4Mrmc2eSrpRPuQP58Cl1Gm6qsiAAX-subuJfXy6EsJjrcJhyphenhyphenRgskv7PL117QbFgjt7t2WJ0VM3AML-JFSz97TR2h6JI-O4ngXkrTHOUENzqlRYtauuzcF-rRw/s1600-h/100_2848.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBO8VqYgLwuVFdxku05r4Mrmc2eSrpRPuQP58Cl1Gm6qsiAAX-subuJfXy6EsJjrcJhyphenhyphenRgskv7PL117QbFgjt7t2WJ0VM3AML-JFSz97TR2h6JI-O4ngXkrTHOUENzqlRYtauuzcF-rRw/s400/100_2848.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309825520956848626" border="0" /></a>Isaac: "Mom, Ellie has been eating the cupcakes."<br /><br />Me: "Oh, really? You haven't had any?"(At which point I actually have enough sense to grab the camera that is right next to me on the cupboard, Lucky me!)<br /><br />Isaac: "No, I didn't have any. Ellie ate them all."<br /><br />Me: "Are you sure about that?"<br /><br />Isaac: "I didn't have any. Some years we even get to do Easter, too. It's quite the whirl wind... Parties, Cake, Presents, Parties, Cake, Presents. Heck, it's an F5 twister around here.<br /><br />As you know I allow the kids to choose which Birthday Cake they want me to make and then I spend a couple of DAYS making it and doing practically nothing else. So needless to say, since I've blogged about it before, there are not Words to describe the mess. Especially this year since I've done two cakes this week. I can't work in a messy Kitchen so that's about the extent of my cleaning. But you should see my kids rooms:(:(:( I shouldn't have to clean those anyways, right? I decided the tulips rocked. Not a huge fan of Red Roses (Thanks Bachelor). The food was good, and so was the company, but boy did we lack entertainment. So I was a little hard up for some and ended up styling the hair of all these American Girl Dolls without anyone even asking me to. Weird, I know, but dolls are just one of those things I've never grown out of, Lucky for me I have 3 daughters and plenty of nieces that make for plenty of dolls around to dress and play hair salon with. Sariah, our resident photographer, was sure to get pics so I thought I'd better blog about it so our "Awesome" start to 2009 would be documented. No lie...this was it.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhMJaU_zKb1fVtFcYsFPvqAeccnvux0zKUcI1xOAorx3pQV_Z3Lm8s3_28xO0Er3Q8jufw4E_Gw5y1caZ-V8PYwOhmMPCVwR9LofYT0ph1yrvzVj9nbiLWE2ZDiznpewL64HgcFwnyu80/s1600-h/100_2700.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhMJaU_zKb1fVtFcYsFPvqAeccnvux0zKUcI1xOAorx3pQV_Z3Lm8s3_28xO0Er3Q8jufw4E_Gw5y1caZ-V8PYwOhmMPCVwR9LofYT0ph1yrvzVj9nbiLWE2ZDiznpewL64HgcFwnyu80/s400/100_2700.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290932204785079330" border="0" /></a>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-89944192524124011352009-01-08T11:14:00.000-08:002009-01-08T11:58:45.128-08:00That's how I play a day away in the merry old land of Moss!So let me start this by saying THANKS HONEY, for putting up with all the mess and chaos that ensue when your wife decides she going to make A CAKE. I know you didn't really mean it when you said that this is the last cake I can ever make. Thanks for letting me play!<br /><br />Well, necessary brown nosing aside...<br /><br />I did it! Ellie's princess cake is now a memory, documented only by my crappy camera and probably my hips (when I make a cake the only thing I get around to eating is cake, rice krispie treats, and to a lesser degree frosting). I decorated this cake in record time and it didn't turn out half bad. The base fondant turned out horribly, so don't look too close at the pics. Ellie was such a good helper and covered the first layer with fingernail marks and fingerprints. And for some reason, maybe the sun???, the under layer that was originally light pink turned white everywhere that it wasn't covered. The only real problem I had was deciding if I would follow the picture of the princess cake I was using for inspiration or follow my own ideas. In the end I only used the concept from the contest cake, it just wasn't "Disney" enough for me. So this is what I came up with...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbmveLGgZ1achHTu7Nrv3JouyZ1EVniuGZNnuNvHmXQatTFhZVPtuwSner9iKBhNAwZvdA96vbscqyUTLsFhCrlnNBJHK2J1wi6nqEDG-Pu8Ek7tNjg6IaxG_5er2345mEL9rfq-PdRaw/s1600-h/100_2754.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbmveLGgZ1achHTu7Nrv3JouyZ1EVniuGZNnuNvHmXQatTFhZVPtuwSner9iKBhNAwZvdA96vbscqyUTLsFhCrlnNBJHK2J1wi6nqEDG-Pu8Ek7tNjg6IaxG_5er2345mEL9rfq-PdRaw/s400/100_2754.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289010830229230242" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSTYfmsdtI42lMseg4BnQNfIB7a-4nGmUDpFFWZyJMGnPZtsiR-kTt_nJJk2K96t_gxm73v6kz8JB2_Ee6kzpOu7-vApa0DzP9G1yEkZRDdU1zWfbO5nNI0Fxnvt_6zvCK5GJE1_NU0MA/s1600-h/100_2751.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSTYfmsdtI42lMseg4BnQNfIB7a-4nGmUDpFFWZyJMGnPZtsiR-kTt_nJJk2K96t_gxm73v6kz8JB2_Ee6kzpOu7-vApa0DzP9G1yEkZRDdU1zWfbO5nNI0Fxnvt_6zvCK5GJE1_NU0MA/s200/100_2751.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289012841617806482" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-S2rtlJazEqloppF4Y0EVb8ZEV28vuxT4WMD-5KrvjlUUuVw_3V3dKKz1DkNZAcHzuq9tu0bWWaZNWSPqkipNpuKHGpMEBQmaGiqqqiVfWveCtCpO7llyyvHv-e9c7FgT__s3AGIWeOs/s1600-h/100_2753.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-S2rtlJazEqloppF4Y0EVb8ZEV28vuxT4WMD-5KrvjlUUuVw_3V3dKKz1DkNZAcHzuq9tu0bWWaZNWSPqkipNpuKHGpMEBQmaGiqqqiVfWveCtCpO7llyyvHv-e9c7FgT__s3AGIWeOs/s200/100_2753.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289012725703994274" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir2hryrI_nm6EZOSc4qAI2cyQIQItV0m0K3GzKBgQm-VFE8r8lQoGCi7mYVDiM6vi-50TVGlakh9kwP_sqjHJXVeiK-0_EZiF6p6tndzw4j-WuUV4nze9uvlyoIgtZ6FjahYSFEOPmLrg/s1600-h/100_2733.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir2hryrI_nm6EZOSc4qAI2cyQIQItV0m0K3GzKBgQm-VFE8r8lQoGCi7mYVDiM6vi-50TVGlakh9kwP_sqjHJXVeiK-0_EZiF6p6tndzw4j-WuUV4nze9uvlyoIgtZ6FjahYSFEOPmLrg/s200/100_2733.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289011924461882290" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />It was definitely Princess approved!<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4ceGTHIlZHRqds6uy-tdbdMw34dI8yocbW_qHkqNM-lYJta1B95A1ae6SRPJeefrtzYZi4JrNyIcuLUasqECMIwqTfGzP0xTbVIOAwtoSzqKFLLnaoSqDe9W1k8EDJ8iqPFFpPb3Ktl0/s1600-h/100_2767.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4ceGTHIlZHRqds6uy-tdbdMw34dI8yocbW_qHkqNM-lYJta1B95A1ae6SRPJeefrtzYZi4JrNyIcuLUasqECMIwqTfGzP0xTbVIOAwtoSzqKFLLnaoSqDe9W1k8EDJ8iqPFFpPb3Ktl0/s400/100_2767.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289014350579114674" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjK0cLdSWcMJRCaWfeQEimgcD5_oNhQziUeUKYXBaldiINtLLEpZQf3AQ48bm1qYy4FP4egxJODvrq3Uqb830z2Q_L5OFZ3b3o2_AHqByUBmwHXvSR0R30v4YEoNmAvj0hzv-JLzz0ezXY/s1600-h/100_2753.jpg"><br /></a></div>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-49045656738196194332009-01-03T19:38:00.000-08:002009-01-03T19:56:51.387-08:00FONDANT (As per request)<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbpHJGrPnbljDdoSmE4tW0C_BJsu6bgeBsFoIYJJ76XsPwN2iY2tXWDZndpU6H1pMeLFVfZqlfjEdb6E4hdrdMeqcVAHcajEsS-dY4SqJexW0eOAIh6QX_fkvgUYYgdy4dAAwgAp31msI/s1600-h/WhiteDomeCake1_sm.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 282px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbpHJGrPnbljDdoSmE4tW0C_BJsu6bgeBsFoIYJJ76XsPwN2iY2tXWDZndpU6H1pMeLFVfZqlfjEdb6E4hdrdMeqcVAHcajEsS-dY4SqJexW0eOAIh6QX_fkvgUYYgdy4dAAwgAp31msI/s400/WhiteDomeCake1_sm.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287280832337013026" border="0" /></a><br />So I've had a couple of requests for my fondant recipe and because I'm really not the type to keep a secret I've decided to post it here on my blog. It's such an easy recipe that even if you don't make cake, you could make up a batch for a fun edible playdough. I'm taking some to my NEW primary class tomorrow so they can sculpt the plan of Salvation (Sounds like something off of Seriously So blessed, I know but I've been promoted to 10 year olds, yay!) It really does taste just like marshmallow~not one of my fav flavors so I usually add almond extract to it. Instead of writing out the whole process I'm just going to give you a link. It's got step by step with pics and is the best recipe I've found. It could be a tad stiffer but I use it because of it's simplicity. So many fondant recipes have 10+ ingredients and call for things like glycerin??? Where do you get that? So with out further ado...<br /><a href="http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm">http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm</a><br />Happy Sculpting!Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-61390642750129824032009-01-02T08:09:00.001-08:002009-01-02T13:22:41.128-08:00Back Tracking Needed (Get ready for a long one!)So I'm finally feeling like I have a minute to post some pics from the holidays. No big deal! Just get them on here for journaling purposes and the grandparents. I didn't get as much accomplished this Holiday season as I wanted to, it just seemed so short didn't it?, but I did scratch Gingerbread houses off the list. I would really like to make them from scratch with melted candy stained glass windows and all but... We settled for kits from the store. Heidie and Madison, my two nieces joined us. What sticky/messy fun!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDo-zWrPn6nxDMvfa87IpY3MQFaUZPwXDrxwFvMjc61t1Udq3iQb74mNh3h9NzqvETupdH811v1ekrp3iKc1Bh8-v-ID7wMbFPbMzUhuAiGiQYC3p2n9zF8YQjNVbUK56gVFF-qdWOz2E/s1600-h/100_2569.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDo-zWrPn6nxDMvfa87IpY3MQFaUZPwXDrxwFvMjc61t1Udq3iQb74mNh3h9NzqvETupdH811v1ekrp3iKc1Bh8-v-ID7wMbFPbMzUhuAiGiQYC3p2n9zF8YQjNVbUK56gVFF-qdWOz2E/s400/100_2569.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286729689202456594" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzjfbf4P5hyujD0DXy-6VqdZ66xl0dk8CfWEFzKqWfoCeymXP5-xw7AxIV8mrZIQ9fxWmrbCx3BjXdIAYX9qFOHur-jkb71uVlZm_riRtPDxiKdN_VBfLOP6nkoxbD-JASYXPQ5PJQ59M/s1600-h/100_2537.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzjfbf4P5hyujD0DXy-6VqdZ66xl0dk8CfWEFzKqWfoCeymXP5-xw7AxIV8mrZIQ9fxWmrbCx3BjXdIAYX9qFOHur-jkb71uVlZm_riRtPDxiKdN_VBfLOP6nkoxbD-JASYXPQ5PJQ59M/s320/100_2537.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286797964848918690" border="0" /></a><br />Sariah was able to bring her Cello home for the holidays to practice. Although if I recall this was the only time she has taken it out all Christmas break. I know, what a good mom I am. Anyways, the poor thing has to sit in the rocking chair 8 inches from the entertainment center so she can read her music. She's really in need of a music stand. I am so happy she is playing Cello. It is very low pitch which means it doesn't grate on my nerves when she practices the same thing over and over and occasionally plays the wrong note. It sounds quite beautiful actually. She doesn't bring it home that often because it's so big and they don't allow it on the bus so I figured I'd snap a pic. I think her concert is in a couple weeks so I probably should have been on her to practice more.<br /><br />Isaac FINALLY got the slinky dog he's been asking for for Christmas the last three years.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZPUvTdV5o0s4xeBh2tUFC8lwC7rMnpcJIeregz4YJ_BBmetcyDP11zA56Qfh7nV4eP0M8ygCi8Hs9mzkfBkvWbmDmYt01MNe87JN8Vw_1IACFnllLNMC4EUTXqIv370pHcGjzopDq81s/s1600-h/100_2657.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZPUvTdV5o0s4xeBh2tUFC8lwC7rMnpcJIeregz4YJ_BBmetcyDP11zA56Qfh7nV4eP0M8ygCi8Hs9mzkfBkvWbmDmYt01MNe87JN8Vw_1IACFnllLNMC4EUTXqIv370pHcGjzopDq81s/s320/100_2657.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286808896771571410" border="0" /></a> I could never see the point and quite frankly I still don't. Then she<br />just lounged around on the floor watching a Barbie movie. I forget<br />which one. She watches about 2/day. I know, my parenting skills... Anyways, don't you just love it? Ellie will be happy since this is the one she voted for. Good thing for me. I probably would have made it no matter what because of that but it was fun to see what other people thought. And I'm definitely going to be making cake #2 someday soon. It looks so yummy filled with pastry cream which if you've never had, I'm sorry. It is the best! Way better than whipped, bavarian, mousse, clotted- or any of those other creams. So stay tuned for the finished result. I'm beginning the process tomorrow but the party is on Monday. That should give me plenty of time. It's gonna be fun!Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-88526582602541320962008-12-28T17:25:00.000-08:002008-12-28T17:53:43.915-08:00Happy Birthday Ellie!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir8W2sHqYUJZMyIM_JZy3Twtqf3iXWSdV0vO7QXekLgyBsckqf1SYYhohNynI8rMaoN3WYY2mCYdYS_imMhs4_GccMQ3D5A9JOMMDfmz2tADVAX7FWpSYXx2urpaKkgRijQJGXfpertQg/s1600-h/100_2647.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir8W2sHqYUJZMyIM_JZy3Twtqf3iXWSdV0vO7QXekLgyBsckqf1SYYhohNynI8rMaoN3WYY2mCYdYS_imMhs4_GccMQ3D5A9JOMMDfmz2tADVAX7FWpSYXx2urpaKkgRijQJGXfpertQg/s400/100_2647.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285017298502418194" border="0" /></a>Ellie Kate is 3 Years old. Wow has the time flown. What a wild and wonderful world this has been since she's been here. I have to say of all my children she has really challenged me the most but I have also learned the most and been humbled the most by her. I can't imagine not having her sweet smile and kisses every morning. She is so enthusiastic about life and knows exactly how she wants it to be. And Boy does she love her brother and sisters. I was very glad not to have to go through that all by myself at my house later that night. We went home at about 8 to find it had snowed 5 inches while we were away. So we rushed in out of the cold , took the last piece off our advent calender, sang a couple songs, and then opened up ONE present. We talked about the true meaning of Christmas and what an amazing gift our Savior Jesus Christ is to us. The spirit was so strong. Even when one of the little girls yelled out that she loved the snow while I was telling the story of Jesus' birth . I was thankful for the class' squirreling around because it kept me from crying and having to explain myself to 5 year olds. I am going to miss being Isaac's teacher. And boy am I in for it next year. The up and coming class is huge. Ellie will be a Sunbeam sitting in the row in front of me, which is going to be interesting to say the least. I am so thankful to be able to teach such innocent little spirits. <span style="font-weight: bold;">I </span>learn so much in the process. My sister in law just gave me a disc that had these pictures that I haven't seen in a couple of years of my kids on them . How have they gotten so big so fast? Why does every year seem to go faster than the one before it? Why can't I keep up with the pace? So as time is even now slipping away I'm going to make this short, get off the computer, and go enjoy the last Sunday before Christmas with my kids.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim0RTlsD7sjKho6xvGZ4PUvMxeeYK4gfm8dpOT__25IP8v4CDl2QC_ZxgaDq3axPHDh2g9VShfPa6KKN5ybC7JH-CRZgf3Syn5SAq6wZP4hKxMQhA9LYshqtKiMQwVDlqg2Kj384KR0uc/s1600-h/046-5.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 295px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim0RTlsD7sjKho6xvGZ4PUvMxeeYK4gfm8dpOT__25IP8v4CDl2QC_ZxgaDq3axPHDh2g9VShfPa6KKN5ybC7JH-CRZgf3Syn5SAq6wZP4hKxMQhA9LYshqtKiMQwVDlqg2Kj384KR0uc/s400/046-5.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282390407070672082" border="0" /></a>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-62982886473789105432008-12-20T07:08:00.000-08:002008-12-20T07:29:03.468-08:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo4zle3vfbP05BtVOJ9plx7YJnQ6ogC53GSlpfY7Bbx7F5Dw6u6xb6t7DEHsBy46ys0GrwILXjFmLsTlrbRVtTMMoZj9AxMo4dG8T7SdCNABw6InkE7nkBtm6Ddaj684gkHBPgSlRYYgE/s1600-h/christmas+cards+2008+092.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 381px; height: 265px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo4zle3vfbP05BtVOJ9plx7YJnQ6ogC53GSlpfY7Bbx7F5Dw6u6xb6t7DEHsBy46ys0GrwILXjFmLsTlrbRVtTMMoZj9AxMo4dG8T7SdCNABw6InkE7nkBtm6Ddaj684gkHBPgSlRYYgE/s400/christmas+cards+2008+092.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281893065306551202" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 0);font-size:100%;" ><span style="font-family:lucida grande;"><span style="font-size:180%;">Merry Christmas!<br /><br /></span></span></span><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 0, 0);font-size:100%;" >So we have had family pictures twice now plus all the kids in a studio. Boy am I sick of getting dressed up, not to mention dressing up everyone else. Andy's sister Wendy took some pics at the beautiful lodge we stayed in at Lake Odell over Thanksgiving. She wasn't able to get them to us in time so we took some quick snapshots at Jodie's (my sis-in-law). We hurried to get ready after school but it gets dark at like 4pm. So even though it was dark outside her son insisted we not use the flash, making us totally reliant on artificial light. I thought we should use the flash and edit later. Needless to say, the pictures turned out blurry (the ones he didn't accidentally erase) .I tried, really I did and now this is me letting it go. So If you don't get a Christmas card this year, consider this your Merry Christmas. However, I think I found at least one okay pic (the one above isn't it) and will be sending out a few cards. My recipe this week is Candy Cane Carameled Apples:<br /><br />10 apples (I like granny smith or jonagold)<br />1/2 Cup of butter<br />1 cup corn syrup<br />2 cups brown sugar<br />14 oz can sweetened condensed milk<br />1 tsp. I painted the sign too. My nieces Emily and Brooke helped me. Eventually we had to ban Brooke from helping because she kept dripping paint everywhere. I just had to put <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">polka dots</span> over the paint spills. Everyone had so much fun that they were already asking to do it again next year. We only had about half the girls there but it was such a perfect day for a parade. We had so many different levels of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">cloggers</span> so we just took turns one at a time doing whatever we wanted, just like freestyle. We weren't allowed to throw Candy or anything else because it's illegal here. Hint: in Oregon everything is illegal except things that are illegal everywhere else<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"></span><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"></span> but I digress, We all had a wonderful time at the Bend Oregon Christmas Parade.Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-25932638980308906022008-12-17T05:42:00.000-08:002008-12-17T05:47:28.141-08:00A new leaf!<span style="font-family: georgia;">So I turned out to be really bad at this blogging thing. I knew I would be, which is why I didn't do it for so long. All this encouragement to be on the computer all the time... Well MY time is very little but I am going to try and do better. I think I'm going to update every Sunday instead of trying to do it everyday or even every other day. So without further ado...<br /></span>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-309297730225096672008-09-21T19:03:00.000-07:002008-09-21T19:23:37.343-07:00Primp primp here, primp primp there<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDmQz1ddRkfpo8dx2HWmVp1jJYAXvLBiQNCTqFgRhjy0MzfRzpiQrJHP4-zCKGFo3NiUr0_dQfBuPTYmTMNWXGS6zkbikdFLJd2uLhg7gVCU9FjlCZgkR8z51WoMmvRjVefyGG0yumVNM/s1600-h/100_2183.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 290px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDmQz1ddRkfpo8dx2HWmVp1jJYAXvLBiQNCTqFgRhjy0MzfRzpiQrJHP4-zCKGFo3NiUr0_dQfBuPTYmTMNWXGS6zkbikdFLJd2uLhg7gVCU9FjlCZgkR8z51WoMmvRjVefyGG0yumVNM/s400/100_2183.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248660770375977842" border="0" /></a>The best idea Disneyland has ever come up with is this Princess Fantasy Faire that was going on while we were there. You could have you're face painted, your hair done, and your wardrobe changed to match that of your favorite princess (no eye dying though). The price $150.00. So my niece, Emma, got her hair fixed but Aubrey settled on face paint and a tiara for a cool $25.00. Ellie wanted the crown but ended up refusing the face paint in the end.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj7vG18namoRnSBe1pfmyeudyrDHjOpEN8VQO7vQCMBIkxVzLnJUPuiKwizaSViOUEDQmP3QNeQtPiNoc9OHrKek3_O4Dvs8UHOBezrjstY21hsvtqB4fCHvHHZ8ZJNazYyQwH7DmcJqM/s1600-h/100_2184.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 282px; height: 176px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj7vG18namoRnSBe1pfmyeudyrDHjOpEN8VQO7vQCMBIkxVzLnJUPuiKwizaSViOUEDQmP3QNeQtPiNoc9OHrKek3_O4Dvs8UHOBezrjstY21hsvtqB4fCHvHHZ8ZJNazYyQwH7DmcJqM/s400/100_2184.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248662657534628146" border="0" /></a> She still had a blast looking at herself in the mirror. And when you were through, they had dancing lessons given by all the Disney princesses in the Enchanted theater. Sariah was off with her cousins and of course Andy and Isaac ran away as fast as they could. But Aubrey, Ellie, and I stayed there for hours. So FUN!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTDig2Do0NgcbcFUCPcJyEnORg73bAqwevaL0s7Pjv-8Ddzqq5AbrTmoeK5mxe1Rz3kKlL1EZEHiGoUI0Pon2D1RoJeG3iBFyDBxraDywtV4Zz9zlLTtQAmSbMVsQUwx5un64BoYE9L-o/s1600-h/100_2172.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 227px; height: 303px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTDig2Do0NgcbcFUCPcJyEnORg73bAqwevaL0s7Pjv-8Ddzqq5AbrTmoeK5mxe1Rz3kKlL1EZEHiGoUI0Pon2D1RoJeG3iBFyDBxraDywtV4Zz9zlLTtQAmSbMVsQUwx5un64BoYE9L-o/s400/100_2172.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248663793456833666" border="0" /></a>Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943254866976290383.post-10291210926018512502008-09-21T18:38:00.000-07:002008-09-21T19:00:08.055-07:00And our little dog, too.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4dLUZrvJIrn0RU9T11X0d94ve71URv0fipsbeV-jCtx7fCzShNwhJ5IDclouoaHIAnfH79fS3qsy_8LQS1g-WV7_P5nz19-y5m4DGM45er6Rvq7LNeQRe00JivmUezLabKWul44VRk6k/s1600-h/100_2186.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4dLUZrvJIrn0RU9T11X0d94ve71URv0fipsbeV-jCtx7fCzShNwhJ5IDclouoaHIAnfH79fS3qsy_8LQS1g-WV7_P5nz19-y5m4DGM45er6Rvq7LNeQRe00JivmUezLabKWul44VRk6k/s400/100_2186.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248654761371558818" border="0" /></a><br />So yes I have officially lost my mind and given in. We got a puppy. Andy's sister Wendy's dog had puppies in July and I agreed to let us adopt one. We really lucked out because he has the best personality. He never tries to squirm away and he doesn't get it your face. When I pet him my hands don't feel all grimy. He doesn't bark or jump on you.<br />He's so laid back, he was born to be a Moss it seems. So far so good. His name is Teddy. My niece Camille named him when he was born. The kids want to keep the name because it just seems to fit him. So we went to California to pick him up. And when we were leaving he was in his kennel crying. I was really thinking it was going to be the longest 15 hour drive home ever (as if that's not insanely long already). I told Sariah to hold him thinking he would quiet down. But he went from crying to yelping. Finally, I suggested Isaac hold him and sure enough, he snuggled down and closed his eyes instantly. There he stayed practically the whole<br />way home. Isaac had spent a good amount of time playing with the puppy while we were at Wendy's and obviously they'd bonded. So that makes me happy, after all I agreed to this whole puppy thing hoping Isaac would gain a buddy. As of now Teddy is definitely Issac's best friend.Amanda Jo Mosshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13824129280501638963noreply@blogger.com3
